Malkerns Town Council, in partnership with the Manzini Regional Administration, is stepping up efforts to support the growth and development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the Manzini Region.
The Mayor of Malkerns Town Council warmly welcomed participants at a recent engagement, telling those gathered that true development begins with economic empowerment and that a thriving Malkerns is one where businesses flourish, opportunities expand, and every resident has a chance to succeed.
The Manzini Regional Administrator backed the sentiment, telling participants that supporting local enterprises is key to regional growth and that investing in businesses within communities stimulates economic activity, creates employment, and builds a more sustainable future for all. 
The council said local businesses remain the backbone of the economy, creating jobs, driving innovation, and strengthening communities across the region. Through the collaboration with the Manzini Regional Administration, the council said it is committed to creating a supportive environment where entrepreneurs can thrive by improving their access to opportunities, resources, and markets.
