33 police officers complete specialised abuse probe training

Matsapha – The Royal Eswatini Police Service’s Deputy National Commissioner, Mumcy Dlamini, presented certificates of completion to 33 Domestic Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (DCS) officers.

The event took place at the Police Academy in Matsapha after the police officers had undergone sensitive and complex crimes treatment of gender-based violence, child abuse and neglect as well as other sexual offences of rape and sexual assault. The training was conducted from 19 May to 20 June 2025 and is known as the DCS Course 1 of 2025.

The police officers come from various stations across the country.

Congratulating the police officers, the National Commissioner Manoma Vusi Masango, represented by his deputy, Dlamini, said the certification was well-deserved, wishing them well as they return to duty.
