Mbabane – British High Commissioner Colin Wells visited Ezulwini Catholic Primary Schools on Thursday to watch tag rugby matches between local girls and boys teams before handing over 26 boxes of rugby kit to the Eswatini Rugby Union and local rugby NGO SKRUM.

The donation, made possible by UK-based NGO SOS Kit Aid, included shirts, shorts, boots, socks and rugby balls, and is intended to grow the game of rugby across the Kingdom.

“This donation of kit will help the Eswatini Rugby Union, SKRUM and others both to promote the game amongst next-generation emaSwati, both boys and girls, but also to teach important principles about working and playing as a team, and consideration for others. Thank you to SOS Kit Aid,” he said.
