Mbabane – The Royal Science and Technology Park has developed a Grant Management Information System for the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, built by its in-house systems developers under the National Data Centre.
Officials from the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office have already undergone training on the system, which is designed to help them load and manage beneficiary data more efficiently. The system’s initial focus is on supporting the elderly and people with special needs across the Kingdom.

The platform allows for streamlined beneficiary data capture and includes the ability to add a proxy, ensuring that those who cannot physically claim their grants can still access them. It also provides detailed data summaries, giving officials insight into beneficiary numbers across constituencies, Inkhundla and chiefdoms at Umphakatsi level.
One of the system’s key functions is closing gaps in the current grants process, including tracking and preventing payments to non-existent beneficiaries.
