Gaborone is hosting Africa’s leading aviation route development forum this week, with more than 450 delegates from across the continent and beyond gathering at the Gaborone International Convention Centre for AviaDev Africa 2026.
The three-day event, running from 10 to 12 June 2026, has drawn representatives from over 50 regional, continental, and international airlines, alongside airports, tourism authorities, aviation stakeholders, and policymakers.

AviaDev Africa serves as a platform for high-level engagement focused on strengthening air connectivity, forging strategic partnerships, and unlocking opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment across Africa. 
Over the three days, delegates will take part in meetings, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at shaping the future of aviation and connectivity on the continent.
