MBELEBELENI: Minister of Agriculture Mandla Chawuka has officially opened Mkhumbane Dip Tank Number 96 at Mbelebeleni under Mkhiweni Inkhundla in the Manzini Region.
The facility was completed through cooperation between Micro Projects and the local community.
Micro Projects contributed more than E320,000 towards the construction, while residents contributed over E40,000. 
The community also completed a 17 day preparatory exercise before construction started. The dip tank was then built in 22 days.
During the opening ceremony, speakers welcomed the partnership between Micro Projects and the community, saying it had made the project possible.
Chawuka thanked the residents for taking part in the construction and urged them to protect the facility so that it could continue serving livestock owners in the surrounding communities.
“I appreciate the collaboration with Micro Projects, and I urge community members to take care of the facility and to promptly fix whatever that may break, without necessarily relying on outside help, so that it can continue benefiting the sorrounding communities as expected,” said Chawuka.
