Mbabane – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy has welcomed Ms Sindi Precious Tembe as its newly appointed Under Secretary for Administration, with her new role expected to strengthen internal coordination and support effective service delivery.

Tembe was officially welcomed by the Ministry’s Principal Secretary, Ms Lindiwe Mbingo, together with Heads of Departments, as she assumes responsibility for the Administration pillar.

Her appointment comes as the ministry continues to strengthen its internal systems and coordination to support the delivery of its mandate to the public.

The Administration Department is responsible for several key functions within the ministry, including policy and strategic executive direction, supervision of technical departments and sections, as well as common support services required for the ministry’s day to day operations.

The department also has a role in maintaining a professional and productive working environment that enables employees across the ministry to effectively carry out their responsibilities.

The ministry said Tembe’s leadership would contribute towards strengthening administrative systems, improving coordination between departments and supporting the implementation of its programmes.

Tembe brings experience from various government ministries, where she worked as a Human Resource Specialist.

Before taking up her new position at the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy, she served as Deputy Executive Secretary under the Teaching Service Commission.
