Swakopmund, Namibia – Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Southern African Inter-Revenue Administration Games (SAIRAG), held over Easter weekend from 3 to 5 April 2026. The Lesotho team competed across various sporting disciplines, bringing home a mix of gold, silver, and bronze medals.
In individual events, Mahooana Heisi claimed gold in darts, earning the title of Best Player of the tournament. Mosiuoa Moso finished second in the 10km race, securing a silver medal, while Pholiwe Masimong earned bronze in the 400m sprint.
Team events further showcased Lesotho’s competitiveness. The men’s volleyball and basketball squads both took silver medals, matching the women’s basketball team, who also earned silver. The tug of war team rounded off the medal haul with bronze.
Although the overall winners of the tournament were the Zambia Revenue Authority, RSL’s strong performance demonstrated determination, resilience, and teamwork. The Eswatini Revenue Service will host SAIRAG 2027, giving Lesotho and other countries a chance to defend their titles and improve their standings.
