Mbabane – The National Agricultural Marketing Board is calling on all commercial horticulture farmers across Eswatini to attend a series of workshops introducing the Eswatini Horticulture Information System, a new digital platform designed to support farming businesses.
The workshops, organised by NAMBOARD, will be held in three regions across the country, starting with Shiselweni on 29 April 2026 at the Nhlangano Regional Executive Office, followed by Manzini on 7 May 2026 at Mavuso Trade Centre, and concluding in Lubombo on 13 May 2026 at the Siteki Town Council Hall. All sessions begin at 8:30am.
Farmers who attend will learn what EHIS is and how it works, the benefits of registering on the platform, how it supports market access and production planning, and will receive step-by-step guidance on how to register.
The EHIS platform gives farmers access to home market prices, financial support information, farm inputs data, production information and quality standards. The system is available for download on both Google Play and the App Store.
NAMBOARD said the initiative is aimed at promoting transparency in crop production and helping farmers make better informed decisions about their businesses.
Commercial horticulture farmers from all four regions are encouraged to attend the session closest to them. For more information, farmers can contact NAMBOARD on 8707437 or email info@namboard.co.sz.
