Gaborone – Ministers from Botswana and South Africa are meeting in the sixth session of their Bi-National Commission, with three agreements expected to be signed before the talks conclude.

The ministerial meeting, currently underway, brings together government ministers from both countries to review progress on existing cooperation and advance new areas of partnership covering energy, health, education, tourism, transport, and bilateral trade and investment.

The two neighbouring SADC member states have long maintained warm relations, and the commission serves as a formal platform for deepening those ties through structured government-to-government engagement.
