Mbabane – Correctional Officer Phetsile Thwala of His Majesty’s Correctional Services has graduated from a year-long culinary training programme at Capsicum Culinary Studio, marking another milestone in the institution’s push to develop its officers beyond their day-to-day duties.

Thwala was among graduates from various disciplines recognised at the Class of 2026 graduation ceremony held on 27 May 2026 at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, where graduates were celebrated for their dedication, resilience and academic achievement.

His Majesty’s Correctional Services said the achievement reflects the values of continuous learning, self-improvement and skills development that sit at the heart of the institution’s growth agenda. The service added that officers who pursue further education and professional training not only strengthen their individual capabilities but also contribute to its broader mandate of service excellence and rehabilitation.
