Mbabane – Lesotho’s Minister of Natural Resources, Mohlomi Moleko, is in Eswatini this week on a high-level learning mission focused on water, sanitation and hygiene service delivery, with the visit centred on understanding how Eswatini is working toward universal access to water services by 2030.
Moleko, who is accompanied by his spouse, leads a delegation of senior government officials and technical experts from Lesotho, alongside representatives from World Vision Lesotho including the National Director and other senior staff members.
The delegation arrived on 8 June 2026 and is scheduled to depart on 13 June 2026. During the week, members have been participating in high-level engagements, field visits and technical discussions aimed at promoting peer learning and exchanging best practices between the two kingdoms. 
Prime Minister Russell Dlamini received the delegation on behalf of the Government of Eswatini, and the visitors have since held meetings with several cabinet ministers including HRH Prince Lonkhokhela, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Economic Planning and Development, the Minister of Tinkhundla and the Minister of Finance.
A key focus of the mission is Eswatini’s partnership with World Vision, which has been central to the country’s efforts to expand sustainable WASH services across its communities.
Moleko and his delegation will join HRH Prince Lonkhokhela on Friday for the official commissioning of the Bulekeni Water Project, which will take place at the Ekuphileni Primary School Sports Ground under Zombodze Inkhundla.
