Lobamba – Somhlolo National Stadium came alive with music, dance and national pride as performers from across Eswatini rehearsed for the upcoming celebration of His Majesty King Mswati III’s 40 years of leadership. Traditional dances and coordinated performances reflected the unity, heritage, and spirit of emaSwati.
The rehearsals were more than practice sessions; they represented a nation reflecting on its journey and embracing its identity under four decades of the King’s reign. With only 20 days remaining, participants demonstrated energy and commitment that mirror Eswatini’s national pride.
Meanwhile, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi attended the annual Good Friday service at the National Church in Lobamba, joining worshippers in commemorating the death of Jesus Christ. She addressed the congregation, saying, “Bazalwane, lamavi lawa kungatsi masibantfwana bakaNkulunkulu angahlala etinhlitiyweni tetfu, kutsi kukhona lowadzela bukhosi belizulu weta emhlabeni weta kutawusifela. Nembala walenga esiphambanweni wetfwala onkhe emanikiniki etfu” 
Her Majesty reminded attendees of divine guidance and the enduring presence of God in their lives, linking the lessons of the past to the present and urging the nation to follow the path of righteousness. She drew parallels between biblical history and current leadership, emphasizing faith and unity.
Prime Minister Mmiso Russel Dlamini also spoke at the National Church, praising the coming together of multiple church denominations. “Yona inkosi kwekutsi ihlangane nesive sayo kutokhulunywa tindzaba tensindziso. Ngibone kwekutsi lomhlangano uhlanganisa emabandla lamanyenti… onke abhicene,” he said.
The Prime Minister reflected on salvation through Christ and the role of faith in guiding the nation, describing how devotion and unity among worshippers strengthen Eswatini’s community. He urged everyone to follow Christ’s example, noting that salvation is open to all who seek it.
