Mbabane – A 24-year-old car wash attendant from Luve is celebrating a life-changing victory after winning a brand-new Toyota Quantum in the inaugural INSTACASH Win-a-Quantum competition.

Khombindlela Vilakati was named the grand prize winner during a live draw held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, with his name randomly selected from thousands of entries by Channel YemaSwati journalist Kimberly Mavuso in a process designed to ensure transparency and fairness. Shortly after the announcement, Vilakati was contacted live and verified as the winner.

Vilakati confirmed that he lives in Luve and had been actively participating in the competition since its launch last year by consistently purchasing raffle tickets.

Speaking moments after learning of his win, Vilakati described the moment as both unexpected and life-changing.

“I’m very happy. I didn’t expect this at all,” he said. “This will help me start something of my own.”

Vilakati revealed plans to use the Toyota Quantum to launch a transport business, saying the move would provide him with a sustainable source of income while also contributing to job creation within his community.

INSTACASH Managing Director Mandla “Cheeks” Nxumalo said the vision behind the initiative was always clear. “When we launched this initiative, the vision was simple: change a Liswati’s life. Today, that vision became reality,” he said.

The competition drew participation from across Eswatini, with thousands of entrants purchasing raffle tickets in hopes of securing the coveted prize. It was run by INSTACASH and Mongefela Investments, audited by FIPS Chartered Accountants and licensed by the Eswatini Gaming Board.
