Mbabane – The Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF) settled 1,015 claims during the April 2025 to March 2026 financial year, as the organisation gathered this week for its Fourth Quarter Business Review Forum to assess its performance and chart the way forward.
The forum, held at the MVA Fund offices, brought together staff and executive management for discussions on the Fund’s performance, priorities, and future direction.

During the 2025/2026 financial year, 1,299 claims were registered, marking a 16.4% increase, while claims settled grew by 4.3%. A total of 256 claimants received full payments, helping individuals and families recover and rebuild their lives following road accidents.
The Fund also intensified outreach initiatives aimed at reducing backlogs and improving access to treatment and rehabilitation services across the country.
